Holster Qualification

Thursday, 27 Jul 2017 6:30pm - 8:30pm

  • Bookings are now closed for this event.

Holster Qualification Course is for licensed shooters who want to compete in Police Service Match, Service Match and IPSC disciplines.

It is a prerequisite of this course that you have participated in at least 3 "RO endorsed" IPSC or Service Match competitions at SSPC in Springvale.

If you intend completing this course, you must complete the Holster Qualification Competition Record and have it signed off by a Holster Qualified Range Officer as you attend each of the 3 competitions.

Please download the Holster Pre Qual Record (see Documents tab above) and attach it into the back of your Training for Your Handgun Licence book to keep a training record of your progress.

Once you have completed the Holster Pre Qual Record, please email a copy of the endorsed document to training@sspc.org.au and you will be issued a password for booking the next available course.

NOTE: that this qualification is the just the test component, it does not include practical instruction on using a holster.

If you want to receive any Practical Instruction on using a holster before attending any of the matches, please email info@sspc.org.au with a subject line request for "Practical Holster Instruction".

Please contact the Chief Range Officer - Neil Osborne via chiefro@sspc.org.au before booking for any information on further prerequisites and what you need to bring on the day.
