Research Data Management: An Overview

Monday, 12 May 2014 12:30pm - 1:30pm

What is Research Data Management? Why is it important to researchers in the Humanities? What do I do with my 'data', whether they are quantitative in nature (such as statistics) or the more qualitative, less tangible and quantifiable data that tend to characterise research in the Humanities?

These questions and more will be tackled during this lunchtime taster session for Humanities graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.

This session will be led by Dr Meriel Patrick, Analyst and Training Officer for the Research Support team at IT Services. Meriel also teaches and conducts research in philosophy and theology.
