Quilt Indaba 2012

Quilt Indaba is held every two years by Grassroots Quilters Guild. Funding was generated by the Stars for Africa International Quilt Festival held in Durban in 1990. Quilt Indaba is dedicated to promoting education in quilting in South Africa by providing an environment conducive to learning and the exchange of ideas and information. We aim to have experienced teachers who can expand the quilting horizons of students, whether it be in traditional techniques or in an innovative new form.
